The first series, the Legend of the Legendary Heroes (伝説の勇者の伝説, Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu) was originally published in Dragon Magazine from February 2002 to October 2006 and is comprised of 11 novels. First airing on TV Tokyo in July 2010, it was produced by studio Zexcs and directed by Itsuro Kawasaki, with music by Miyu Nakamura.
